Biography

Founder and CEO of POPmedia Brands, and PopStar Club, Inc., Sherry Gunther Shugerman is an award-winning producer, media executive, and entrepreneur. Sherry has produced some of television’s most successful animated hits, such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, Rugrats, Dexter’s Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff Girls, Looney Tunes and more; and headed up production at studios such as Hanna Barbera, Warner Bros., Twentieth Century Fox Television, Nickelodeon, and more.

Sherry currently heads up POPmedia Brands, which she founded to create, develop and produce multi-platform brands.  POPmedia has multiple projects in various stages of development, and will be starting production this year on a global series based on The Beatrix Girls, a multi-platform brand of fashion dolls who are pop-stars, which Sherry created and initially launched digitally and as a consumer product.

Sherry is the recipient of two Emmy-Awards, a Cable-Ace award, and a Humanitas Award. She earned her BS degree from UCLA and her MBA from USC.
